It’s not every day you can observe a runway fashion show, shop for unique finds for everyone on your list, and enjoy the talents of local musicians. Yet that is exactly what makes the One of a Kind Holiday Show in Chicago so unique.
The 18th annual One of a Kind Holiday Show returns Thursday, Dec. 6 through Sunday, Dec. 9 at The Mart, 222 W. Merchandise Mart Plaza.
The event features fashion shows, a gourmet food market, a fine art gallery and a market that includes the work of more than 600 independent artists from all over the country, all in one of the largest commercial buildings in the world.
“The One of a Kind Holiday show has a lot in store for shoppers this year,” said Lisa Simonian, Vice President of Marketing, The Mart. “From live fashion shows to the opportunity to ‘discover’ up-and-coming artists for themselves, guests will be welcomed with an array of fun events, special features and the chance to get into the spirit of the season."
The one-stop shopping experience will be something you don’t want to miss, Simonian added.
“We have hundreds of extremely talented artists from a number of backgrounds that bring a creative twist to typical holiday gifts,” she said.
Tickets for the event provide entry for all for days. The cost is $12 for adults, children 12 and under are free, and a portion of all ticket sales will benefit Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital.
